My daughter, Isabel (Izzy) at age 7, fell on New Years Day last year and broke her arm while playing with some friends. We took her to the emergency room and the hospital x-rayed her lower arm and didn't find anything wrong. Her arm continued to hurt so we took her to the Pediatrician. We were praying for her throughout this! They recommended her to a local Orthopedic Doctor and after more x-rays, recommended her to Nationwide Children's Hospital. The diagnosis was Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) at the top of her humerus bone. ABCs are blood-filled, fibrous cysts that expand the bone and can cause pain, swelling and fractures. That break was at the top of the tumor. It broke a second time two weeks later at the bottom of the tumor. The Doctors discussed several surgery options which were rather invasive but no guarantees that it would be corrected. The first x-ray below shows the cyst and the cracks. The second x-ray was on April 23rd, and shows solid bone where the cyst once was. The Doctor told me that they do not normally heal this way. Hallelujah !!!! My God is a healer. Thank you Jesus!
