Serving God should not be a burden! I am not saying that it will not be tough or that you will not be sad or grieved again. What I am saying is that your strength to endure the tough times should come from a real source in your life. That source is Jesus Christ! He has sent us the Comforter! The Holy Spirit was given to the disciples for them to be able to complete their task of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His saving grace! We need to learn how to walk in our Spirit that has been renewed and follow Christ with everything that we are. There is a drive in my Spirit that I can not shut off! I can get discouraged and sad, but as soon as I turn my focus to God and His Word I am lit on fire once again! Let us not be burdened down with thoughts of this world. Let us be set free through a personal relationship with Jesus! It is so much more than you could ever imagine! It is finished! Learn how to walk in a finished work! His burden is light!!

Thank God for our military and our veterans! Veteran's Day and the Marine Corps birthday are both just around the corner. These are two of my most favorite days! I am a former Marine and proud to have served my country. I would like to thank all of our veterans and all of our military men and women that are still serving in harms way. THANKS! May God truly bless you and your families!

There is another veteran that has won the war for our souls! As we salute our war heroes, let us not forget that Jesus paid the ultimate price for us! THANKS to our Awesome God! I am looking forward to the day when wars will no longer be fought!

Abraham was promised that through his seed all of the nations would be blessed! That promise has been fulfilled through Jesus Christ! God has kept His promise to Abraham and to all the nations of the world!
How many of you have made promises to God? You might have said, "God if you do this_________, I will go back to church..... I will serve you........I will.......!" When we are in trouble it is easy to promise things that we don't deliver on. Thankfully, God is long suffering and has patience!
God's promise still stands! He loves you and wants you to be His child! What an awesome Father He is! God is not mad at you! Come home!
